We founded SparkShield FPS after seeing too many families and properties devastated by preventable fires — especially fast-moving garage fires from EVs, charging stations, and lithium-ion batteries, along with unchecked perimeter wildfires threatening homes, farms, and commercial sites. The old reactive, one-off approach wasn’t enough. So we built a practical, layered system centered on long-term Komodo fire-retardant perimeter sprays, SuppressAll rapid-response aerosol protection for garages and high-risk zones, and reliable ongoing service. SparkShield FPS was founded by Terry and Maureen to address the growing wildfire risks facing rural homes in Northern Idaho. What began as a personal mission to protect families evolved into providing clear, engineered fire defense solutions for homeowners and builders. Today, the company has expanded to serve commercial enterprises, delivering specialized protection for confined spaces such as elevator and electrical rooms, data centers, shipping containers, rail assets, aviation cargo, and trucking fleets.
We have learned that many high-risk areas remain overlooked with minimal or no effective fire coverage. Our passion is to protect families, businesses, and property from the devastation fire can bring.
